Byron the Fiddler Crab

Age: 1

Favourite color:  Byron’s favourite colour is blue because it’s the complementary colour to orange, which means they create a strong contrast when placed next to each other. Byron wants to stand out so he is always looking for bright blue things to grab on to so that he can look striking.

Favourite Food: Detritus, otherwise known as decaying plant and animal matter … yummm!

Hobbies:  Listening to music

Dream job: Ragtime fiddle player

Known for: Constantly grabbing onto things and burying things in the sand

Favourite saying:  “Catch me if you can!””

There are two rumours about how Byron got his name. One is that he is named after the famous fiddle player Byron Berline. The second is that he was named after the place where he was born, Byron Bay in Australia. I’m not sure which one is true.
